Day nine: write a breaking poem, and here is my attempt.
The scent of love is relived from breathing in the ocean breeze of my Virginia Beach childhood home. Sand grains shift under my feet, clear water ripples swirl around my ankles carrying memories of you and the summer kiss on the sweet side of my neck.
The warm familiar scent of you and the salty air engulfed me in my distant memories. I can see from the shore where I left my home and my “I love you” was caught on the break of the waves.

I am a Texas transplant from Virginia Beach and I love family, food, and entertaining with friends! On any given weekend you will find me out enjoying the city having dining & sipping moments with family and friends.
Besides being a foodie and an avid sports fan, l love writing as well!
I enjoy writing poetry, articles on my dining experiences and short stories. Look for my musings and written expression each day and let me know what is on your mind too. As my cousin, Kendra Edozie, quoted: It All Begins With Just A Thought.
