I touched the bottom and now I am emerging from the depths of my growing leaving the pain beneath the waters. Buried at sea the water cleansed, eroded the dead scales off of me that I didn’t want to be or believe, yet knew I would figure it out and learned to swim in my ocean of discovery.
Floundering in the undertow to find a love that is me. I now emerge to tread water and walk above sinking waves. Seasons of being off course, I can now swim, not be afraid of drowning and reach out my hand to be pulled ashore.
