Rena’s Xploration Situation Challenge#239: You wake to find the image staring back at you in the mirror is not your own. Here is my attempt in a Rondelet poetic form. Rondelet is a French poetic form septet with a repeat/refrain and two rhymes written in AbAabbA pattern.
Forgot me not
Didn’t recognize my look; a bit askew
Forgot me not
but the face was familiar too
Slightly foreign and brand new
Beauty mark, makeup, coiffed hairdo
Forgot me not
