My siblings each helped and sent me phrases from my dad that I hadn’t remembered, yet brought back laughing, and fond memories for me.
“Let’s see says the blind man.” Daddy would say, when asked a question by one of us. He didn’t always know the answers but he always had the knowing knowledge to look and see.
An amateur soothsayer of sorts. He would put his hands in and pull out gems of low country wisdom. Erstwhile jokester of idioms to keep us guessing and seeking the answers ourselves to find happily.

I am a Texas transplant from Virginia Beach and I love family, food, and entertaining with friends! On any given weekend you will find me out enjoying the city having dining & sipping moments with family and friends.
Besides being a foodie and an avid sports fan, l love writing as well!
I enjoy writing poetry, articles on my dining experiences and short stories. Look for my musings and written expression each day and let me know what is on your mind too. As my cousin, Kendra Edozie, quoted: It All Begins With Just A Thought.
