Unhatched skin of beauty and grace

Alive and growing inside of me

Speckled specifically of what I will be

Inside and out.

Nature’s delicate shell will keep me safe and let me grow

As the outside world will try to crack the inner shell of me

and wither away what I am all about.

But the strength I gain for fighting to be

Alive and free

Blessed to perch upon the table

To take and give what I can

From nature’s hatched beauty and grace
