Donβt want loneliness to seek me out tonight to be my bed partner.
Velvet curtains open from loosen tie backs, crinolined romance stood out under skirting stars and smokey glass eyes drink in the shine of house lights playing on our movie reel.
Memories soaked my tears in a claw foot porcelain tub. Opening night perfumed our nightly performance.
An auditioned failed relationship when you took center stage, my pride took a bow, and the curtain came down on closing night.

I am a Texas transplant from Virginia Beach and I love family, food, and entertaining with friends! On any given weekend you will find me out enjoying the city having dining & sipping moments with family and friends.
Besides being a foodie and an avid sports fan, l love writing as well!
I enjoy writing poetry, articles on my dining experiences and short stories. Look for my musings and written expression each day and let me know what is on your mind too. As my cousin, Kendra Edozie, quoted: It All Begins With Just A Thought.
