Body and mind still wrapping around how to feel alive.
In the grey and black from being tossed and turned about
Spirit crushed and body crumbled blackened area of comfort
Recovery began the moment I was helped from the wreckage
Noise in my ear spin from black to grey
Could hear the screeching and the screams
Can I see the forest among the trees put back the shattering and shadow of me.

I am a Texas transplant from Virginia Beach and I love family, food, and entertaining with friends! On any given weekend you will find me out enjoying the city having dining & sipping moments with family and friends.
Besides being a foodie and an avid sports fan, l love writing as well!
I enjoy writing poetry, articles on my dining experiences and short stories. Look for my musings and written expression each day and let me know what is on your mind too. As my cousin, Kendra Edozie, quoted: It All Begins With Just A Thought.
