It happened so fast but I could see it coming, it hit me. I spun around out of control and settled on the median.
I screamed to get out. Getting out on the passenger side, there was one of God’s angels to help me. “I got you, you are okay.”
She left a bit later this morning, later than she had planned and perhaps she should have taken her usually route, plans had changed.
But, the day looked and felt like any other day. The spinning had stopped, she was out of danger, the sun was brighter now too.

I am a Texas transplant from Virginia Beach and I love family, food, and entertaining with friends! On any given weekend you will find me out enjoying the city having dining & sipping moments with family and friends.
Besides being a foodie and an avid sports fan, l love writing as well!
I enjoy writing poetry, articles on my dining experiences and short stories. Look for my musings and written expression each day and let me know what is on your mind too. As my cousin, Kendra Edozie, quoted: It All Begins With Just A Thought.
