Day 30: write a moving on poem. Here is my attempt.
The morning is waking and my dreams are too. I fell asleep arbitrarily thinking about you. With my thoughts tossing and turning and me trying to figure out where I really want them to go, and move on from my dreams of loving you.
But, You stay on the premises of my provocative thoughts existing everywhere in my world. Moving me to think something is there but in reality it is not. The ideals that are housed in my conscience aren’t realized and they move on.
Leaving me to ponder: where does love really go and how do I move on from it too?

I am a Texas transplant from Virginia Beach and I love family, food, and entertaining with friends! On any given weekend you will find me out enjoying the city having dining & sipping moments with family and friends.
Besides being a foodie and an avid sports fan, l love writing as well!
I enjoy writing poetry, articles on my dining experiences and short stories. Look for my musings and written expression each day and let me know what is on your mind too. As my cousin, Kendra Edozie, quoted: It All Begins With Just A Thought.
