Chasing Promised Stars

Day 27: write a remix poem. Here is my attempt to remix the poem from Day 20 write a poem using: content, guide, meet, pump, suit, and double.

I was thinking about you, the content of my daydreams double as the dawn of my day will soon meet the dusk of the evening. The sunset going about its business, guiding the moon for its setting of the night.

The moonlight calls my name and pumps the sky with shooting stars to be chased. You seek out my thoughts at nightfall as I chase promised stars, and my heart going about its night.

The hunt and pursuit done for the day leaves the heart waking to you and its promised stars and dreams.
