Day six: write a “Blank in the Blank” poem. Here is my go at it for today.
I really want to try something new. Though it seems like the only love I knew, comes from the memories of you.
I really want to meet someone new. Find that another can make me smile and not frown and feeling blue.
I really want to start something new. Have an interesting and intriguing escapade to pursue, perhaps walking down the aisle ending with “I do.”
The earth moves for a few, wishing on a shooting star; the night is anew. My time for falling in love is due.
As winter wanes, melts through and through, comes spring rains of mist and dew. I really want to meet someone true, and try something in the new.
