Day five of National Poetry Month: today’s prompt is to write a Don’t Make Sense or Make Sense poem. My attempt at a don’t make sense poem.
We love and respect each other the way we do. I am everything you sweet dream about and what you waited all day for, yet you don’t see us penned in the stars.
Studded with everything we could both want and have. But, here we are still apart. Not sure why, but it don’t make sense to my head or heart.

I am a Texas transplant from Virginia Beach and I love family, food, and entertaining with friends! On any given weekend you will find me out enjoying the city having dining & sipping moments with family and friends.
Besides being a foodie and an avid sports fan, l love writing as well!
I enjoy writing poetry, articles on my dining experiences and short stories. Look for my musings and written expression each day and let me know what is on your mind too. As my cousin, Kendra Edozie, quoted: It All Begins With Just A Thought.
