April is National Poetry Month and this is my first poem for the write a poem a day challenge. Write a “f” word poem. The title of the poem is a word that begins with the letter, “f”.

I can feel the etched sadness on my face, in my eyes filling with tears. Fearing my forever will never be; I focus looking nowhere to anywhere to be far away from the sorrow of being alone. Fading figments of my imagined fantasy to find me in love, fined me from living free. Faithful in finding someone I know is out there for me; must be why the feelings stay with me. With fleeting fortitude, I continue to follow the fabled phenomenon called, love. Friday comes at the end of the week, so I wear a facade of happiness, yet grateful for the future of findings for us.
